Jimmy T 'z makes you feel part of the vintage generation with its grand selection of vintage T- shirts. T-shirts were originally issued by the U.S. Navy (as early as 1913) as a crew-necked, short-sleeved, white cotton undershirt to be worn under a uniform. However, it was not until Marlon Brando wore one in Street Car Named Desire that they became popular to wear as fashionable, stand-alone, outer-wear garments and James Dean's unforgettable white tee in 'Rebel Without a Cause' in 1955, which made t-shirt wearing cool.

While the T-Shirt was evolving during the early era, so too was evolving the early concept of marketing and advertising. From the classic movies, to every day consumer products, to news events to sports and political events and to expression of speech, many unique newspaper ads, posters, billboards and flyers came to life. These early forms of advertising became the classic and vintage art, posters and pictures of today.
